Today I am going to show you the closed questions in the present continuous and sequence words.
(Hoy les voy a enseñar a crear preguntar cerradas con el presente continuo y sobre las palabras de secuencia).

QUESTIONS IN THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS

When asking questions in the present continuous, the form of the auxiliary verb be goes before the subject.
(Cuando se hacen preguntas en el presente continuo, el auxiliar del verbo "be" va antes del sujeto).

Be + subject + verb + ing

For example:

Affirmative sentence:                                 Question:
You are eating ice cream.                           Are you eating ice cream?
She is going to school.                                 Is she going to school?

SEQUENCE WORDS

Sequence is the order in which events happen. We use the words first, next, then, after that and finally to describe events in a sequence.

ADJECTIVES

   Find below more information about the adjectives, comparison of adjectives and comparison of adverbs.

What are comparative adjectives?

A comparative adjective compares differences between two nouns. For example, “The blue car is faster than the red car”.
Comparatives take the following forms:
  • the adj+er: in most cases, adjectives with 1 or 2 syllables take the “er” form (e.g. fast – faster / heavy – heavier)
  • the more + adj: in most cases, adjectives with 3 or more syllables take the “more ~” form (e.g. expensive – more expensive / beautiful – more beautiful)
  • there are a few exceptions to the above rule (e.g. modern – more modern)
  • irregular forms: “good” and “bad” take the irregular forms “better” / “worse”
